- "The Love of My Life" project - see pink sheet - due Mar 12 (B) / Mar 15 (H) -- some of you STILL have not handed this in!
- review "The Painted Door" in your short story book - p. 47
- complete T-chart: Ann is unfaithful / Ann is justified
- for each side of the T-chart, find 5 quotations from the story and explain each
- begin assignment: Write 2 versions of a journal/diary entry OR letter from Ann's POV or John's POV.
- The 1st version of the diary entry or letter should argue/reveal that Anna is unfaithful.
- The 2nd version of the diary entry or letter should argue/reveal that Ann is justified.
- e.g. a letter from John to Ann: 1st version - John is angry at Ann, confronts her on her infidelity, goes on and on about how he's given her everything; 2nd version - John blames himself, apologizes to Ann for leaving her (both that day and by dying)
